the floating flat is a cassina apartment moored on the naviglio for one week of milan design week 2027. furnished by cassina, hosted by airbnb. you don't book it. you win it.

for two weeks beforehand, a key moves through milan. cassina posts the first set of coordinates, the only ones made public. they lead to the first of fourteen cassina pieces placed across the city. an nfc tag sits inside it. tap your phone and the next day's coordinates unlock. fourteen pieces, fourteen taps. follow it all the way and the flat is yours for a night.
